Tile fixing and replacement
Good tile work starts with a sound base. The surface has to be clean, level and dry, and the tiles need accurate cutting, even spacing and fully filled joints. Cracked, loose or hollow-sounding tiles should be checked early. If tiles failed because of damp, the area may need waterproofing before new tiles go down, especially in bathrooms, kitchens and balconies. Matching old tiles can be difficult, so send a photo of the tile and the area.
Masonry and block work
Masonry means building and repairing structures block by block, joined with mortar. We handle masonry repairs and new block work as part of renovation and maintenance jobs. Small hairline cracks are common and usually cosmetic. Wide, growing or diagonal cracks can point to a structural problem and should be assessed by an engineer before repair.
Finishing: patching and painting
Most civil repairs end with plaster patching and painting so the repaired area matches the rest of the wall. Because we also do villa and apartment painting, the same company can finish the job.
Minor civil works and approvals in Dubai
Minor works usually means repairs and small changes inside a property. Larger changes, such as structural alterations or changes to the outside of a building, may need approval from the landlord, the community or building management (often called a NOC) and from the authorities.
